I remember the yesteryears in Lagos, Nigeria, when we had to take the super cheap, overcrowded, endearing gangly yellow molue buses.
They had a lot of mantras and proverbs written all over them in English and other indigenous languages like Yoruba.
By 2008 they had been phased out and I painted this from funny memories I had of how we had to run to board it.
It was popular and often called ’99 sitting, 100 standing’! Lol!!!
It is an acrylic on textured HDF wood board. Already framed in a silver resin frame with a few chipped edges.
Ready to hang.
I will ship it in a sturdy carton
